Fixed / Static Bollards

Sentry Posts carries the superb range of fixed bollards.

Where a permanent pattern of control is required, static bollards can be installed to give firm vehicular restraint while preserving an open and inviting environment. Static bollards are ideal for pedestrian schemes, parks, and other situations where an effective but aesthetically pleasing traffic restriction is required.

They are widely regarded as unobtrusive and can even be elegant yet are a genuine deterrent to the potential miscreant

We design and manufacture the largest range of anti-ram and security cast iron and ductile iron bollards in the U.K. We now carry over 1000 bollards in stock.
Cast Iron Bollards
All Sentry Posts's cast iron bollards bear the unique ‘cast iron guarantee’ for a lifetime in excess of 100 years. All cast iron bollards can be cast in either grade 250 or grade 450-10 anti-ram ductile iron. Ductile iron is recommended for sites vulnerable to vehicle impact. Ductile iron is very unlikely to be damaged.
DuracastTM Polyurethane (PU) Bollards
DuracastTM Polyurethane (PU) bollards are ideal for coastlines and waterside locations, petrol station forecourts and many other locations which include supermarkets, retail parks and shop frontage.
Steel Bollards
The high tensile strength and vandal resistance of galvanized steel bollards makes them suitable for most anti-ram and security applications.
Stainless Steel Bollards
Sentry Posts’s stainless steel bollards provide a sleek and stylish finish to projects ranging from the high street to prestigious developments. Sentry Posts's range is supplied in S304 stainless steel as standard. S316 is recommended for waterside applications.
Concrete Bollards
Sentry Posts’s heavy duty concrete bollards provide security and demarcation in built-up environments. They offer a strong, rugged obstacle which deters vandalism and the threat of ram-raiding. Two types of concrete bollards are available, the first is a traditional range of hardwearing bollards with a smooth or exposed aggregate finish. The second has more stylish and contemporary designs.
Recycled Plastic Bollards
Recycled plastic bollards are suitable for light and medium duty marker uses. The grained outer appearance makes them a durable alternative to timber bollards in parks, rural environments and landscaped sights. Constructed of recycled plastic from 100% mixed post-consumer waste.
Timber Bollards
Most landscape schemes use bollards to keep spaces open and accessible to pedestrians, whilst providing effective traffic control. Wooden bollards are supplied with either flat, chamfered, pointed or domed tops in a range of sizes, which would normally suit rural environments, such as cycle paths and walkways.
Waterside Bollards
Cast iron waterside bollards are ideal for docks, canalsides, harbours, marinesides and other water based locations. They provide reliable mooring in environments liable to deteriorate as a result of exposure to harsh weather and salty atmospheres. Waterside bollards can be used to provide access control or ornament whilst remaining sensitive to the site's original character.
Illuminated Bollards
Illuminated bollards provide low level illumination of paths, entrances and special features. Sentry Posts offers a range of illuminated bollards manufactured from cast iron, steel or aluminium with a choice of opal or clear glazing and louvered or refracted optics. Ideal for safety and security situations, as well as helping to illuminate light trespass and sky glow; both forms of light pollution.
Polyester Powder Coating
We offer a standard range of BS and RAL colours, but the full specification range is available, though this may incur an extra cost.
